Find Healing, Connection, and Hope through Creative Grief Support

At Thrivologie, is to help grieving parents rediscover hope and meaning after unimaginable loss. Healing starts when you are seen, heard, and also supported within a caring environment. Our Child Loss Support Group Connecticut is a loving group where parents are allowed to express their feelings, to share with others who really understand their feelings, and to start developing a new relationship with life after the loss.

Through expressive arts, somatic practices, and mindful connection, we guide you toward emotional release, self-discovery, and gradual transformation. Our approach to child loss support focuses not on “moving on,” but on learning how to live forward—with love, memory, and strength intertwined.

Why Join a Child Loss Support Group Connecticut?

Losing a child changes everything. It can make you feel alone, misunderstood, and full of some emotions that words cannot explain. A child loss support group in Connecticut is a place where you can express your grief without any fear of being judged. In this space, you will find that you are not alone; there are other people who are also on the same road as you are and know how you feel more than most people.

We understand that grief is both deeply personal and profoundly universal. The experience of each parent is different, yet the necessity to be connected and cured is common. Supportive sessions on child loss are situations where we tell our stories, express our creativity, and have somatic healing practices that we expect to lead to the release of emotional stress and facilitate resilience.

About Jen Ripa

I’m Jen Ripa, an expressive arts life coach, somatic grief guide, and artist based in Connecticut. My work enables me to assist people in accepting grief in a creative and body-centered way. Being in a position to assist numerous families during the sensitive moments of child loss, I witnessed the strength of community and creativity in restoring a sense of balance and purpose.

My child’s loss support experience started with the realization that grief does not fade away, but it changes. Art, movement, and mindful presence enable you to preserve the memory of your child as you learn to get in touch with your own vitality. At Thrivologie, I compile the evidence-based grief practices and expressive modalities, which foster the heart and soul.

Our child loss support group Connecticut invites you to move through grief—not to erase it, but to find a way to carry it with gentleness and meaning.

The Power of Expressive Arts in Child Loss Support

Where words fail, art may speak. Through the art of expression, you can safely bring forth your inner world and be creative. At Thrivologie, art is a language of healing, a wash between pain and change. Painting, writing, or moving to music, all varieties of creative action serve the purpose of working through emotion through the process of re-establishing self-compassion.

This is the reason why our child loss support sessions have different expressive modalities. They are what make you relate to your heart and inner strength, as well as the beauty and power within your own narrative. This creative journey also enables many of the participants to find joy even amidst sorrow.

Somatic Grief Guidance

Grief often lives in the body. Pain manifests in tightness of the chest, fatigue, restlessness; these are the means by which the body communicates pain. As a somatic grief guide, I help participants listen to what their bodies are saying and gently release the physical tension grief can create.

During every session in the child loss support group in Connecticut, I lso use breathing exercises, grounding exercises, and mindful movement that help to regain a feeling of safety and tranquility. This, with time, benefits the participants to be back to themselves and restore inner stability.

Community and Connection

The process of healing happens in connection. At Thrivologie, we have a warm, welcoming community that helps each other to go through good and bad times. You would get to meet people who would be there to help you through, people who would be willing to impart wisdom gained through their lives.

We have a child loss support community that is built upon the principles of empathy, respect, and authenticity. We collectively learn to bear grief as a holy experience in our love narrative- one which is ever-changing as love that we have towards our children.
