Grief is not something we simply โ€œget over.โ€ It transforms our identity, our moods, and our relationship with the world. By being a life coach in expressive arts, somatic grief guide, and artist, I have developed grief healing workshops that are full of compassion, creative, and embodied in their way of dealing with loss.

I lead groups of people through art, movement, mindfulness, and somatic experiences at my work space in Connecticut that would allow you to reconnect with your inner strength. These Grief healing sessions are not about forgetting your loss- it is about celebrating your love, your memories, and your ability to lead a whole life once again.

Grief needs space to be experienced, manifest, and changed. With each Grief healing workshop, people will be made to explore their feelings using creativity and embodiment as opposed to only words. I am determined to create an awarding, supportive atmosphere that will allow the healing process to take place naturally.

My Grief healing workshops are reflective, expressive, and body-awareness experiences that are all thoughtfully guided. The participants can practice with visual art, journaling, movement, sound, or just simple breathwork to reconnect to their feelings.

  • Creative Exploration: Creativity and art are soft means to show the emotions that cannot be touched by words. Whenever we hold a Grief recovery workshop, we involve painting, collage, or sculpture as a method of self-discovery and emotional discharge.
  • Somatic Practices: The state of grief is not just kept in mind but in the body as well. By incorporating grounding exercises, movement, and breathwork, every Grief healing workshop welcomes the participants to unwind the physical tension that commonly accompanies the emotional pain.
  • Supportive Community: The process of healing is interrelational. The Grief recovery workshop setting enables the participants to express their experiences, see how other people go through the same experience, and feel that their loss is not alone.

No artistic or creative background or experience is required. It is not about making beautiful art- it is just about letting creativity be your language of healing.

How a Grief Recovery Workshop Supports You?

Every Grief recovery workshop is structured on the principle of gradual development, beginning with awareness, then proceeding to expression, and finally finding a place to fit your grieving into your life history in a purposeful manner.

  • Awareness: We will start by getting to know where grief is in your body by connecting to your feelings and your physical experience.
  • Response: We make your grief / pain heard by means of art, motion, or writing, so that it may be visible and be remembered.
  • Integration: At the close of every Grief healing workshop, the participants tend to testify that they feel much clearer, more emotionally balanced, and adopted.

The grief recovery workshop series empowers further development outside the workshop, including practices to take home and creative suggestions to further your journey in your own time.
